A manual scrolling text overlay for announcements, schedules, website links, rules, social reminders and short stream information. It does not require Streamer.bot.

The preview runs the supplied NewsTicker HTML and its real configuration system. The sample announcements are demonstration text and can all be replaced by the customer.
Data source
Manual local configuration
- Messages and styling come only from config/news_ticker_config.js.
- CUSTOMIZE.html creates the config file.
- NewsTicker.html reads it locally and repeats the row for continuous movement.
- No Twitch, donation or supporter data is read.
- No Streamer.bot port or cloud account is used.
Complete customer setup
Customize, save and add to OBS
- Extract the whole ZIP.
- Open 1_OPEN_CUSTOMIZER.bat.
- Edit the messages and appearance.
- Save into config/news_ticker_config.js.
- Test WEBSITE_DEMO.html.
- Add NewsTicker.html as an OBS Local File Browser Source.
Customization
Every visible part is editable
- One announcement per line.
- Movement speed and left or right direction.
- Height, font size, background, text and accent colours.
- Separator on/off, size and custom image or looping video.
- Neutral PawsOnStream paw included as the default separator.
OBS and privacy
Simple local Browser Source
- Recommended source size: 1920 x 100.
- Keep refresh-on-scene-active disabled for smooth playback.
- All text and settings stay in local files.
- No passwords, API keys or platform authorization are requested.
- Customer files stay inside the extracted project folder.

Fallback: Yes — local configuration and website demo files allow testing before Streamer.bot is connected.

Information that should stay visible
Use NewsTicker for schedules, website links, current stream notes, rules and other short messages. It pairs well with Supporter Popups during gameplay.
Important limitation
Manual text only
NewsTicker does not pull live supporter or platform data. For automatic supporter information use SupportTicker or Supporter Popups.
